Tasting Notes:

Energetic aromas abound with Rainier cherry and overripe loganberry flanked by hints of tomato leaf, green tobacco, white pepper and sweet Thai basil. Smooth and enveloping flavors of bramble fruits, a dark stone fruit core and vanilla creme emerge. Effortlessly, the wine transitions into a soft finish of blackberry, lavender and just a shadow of tannin.

Tasting Notes:

Balanced and inviting, the wine opens with a concentrated nose of ripe strawberries, red plum, allspice, vanilla and a touch of black licorice and cigar box. A smooth and enveloping entry of dark red fruits and creme anglaise leasds to a fresh and bright mid-palate. The soft and integrated tannins finish at length with a pleasing texture of bakers chocolate.

Tasting Notes

Complex and evolving from first taste, unique aromas of granite, brambly fruit, mixed berry cobbler, forest floor and smoke open from the glass. More aromas abound; black plums and boysenberry compote that carry through to the palate that is lush, rich, big and brawny. The finish is lingering and persistent and the wine is definitely addictive.

Inaugural Vintage

Tasting Notes:
Dark crimson in color, the strong, classic Zinfandel aromas of briar fruit and wild strawberries jump out of the glass and are complemented by hints of wet forest floor and high mountain forest. The entry gives way to a rich and textured mid palate of Mexican chocolate, brambly raspberry and a lengthy, caramelized crème Anglaise finish. This wine is a unique expression of old vine Zinfandel grown in the gravel-rich alluvial soils at the base of the Mayacamas mountain range.
