2017 G.B. Crane Vineyard el Coco
Deep, dark violets encircle rose hips, rose petals and black plums, with hints of sandalwood and cured leather. Lush, decadent and dense, the entry is packed with blackberry compote and Tellicherry Peppercorn. Full through the mid-palate with brooding energy, present tannins encapsulate the finish and will soften over time.
Driven by 65% Petite Sirah, the 2017 vintage is a powerful wine with deep color and complexity that should age gracefully over the next 10+ years. The 164 case production will define the availabliity and scarcity of the vintage.
